Ses serviteurs transportèrent son corps en char depuis Megiddo, ils le ramenèrent à Jérusalem et l' ensevelirent dans son tombeau. Le peuple du pays prit Joachaz fils de Josias; on lui donna l' onction et on le proclama roi à la place de son père.
