Nony hitan' ny Tompo fa nanetry tena izy ireo, dia tonga tamin' i Semaiasa ny tenin' ny Tompo nanao hoe: Efa nanetry tena izy ireo, ka tsy handringana azy aho: fa tsy ho ela, dia homeko ny fanafahana izy ireo, ary tsy hanampatra ny hatezerako amin' i Jerosalema, amin' ny tànan' i Sesàka aho.

Quand Yahvé vit qu' ils s' humiliaient, la parole de Yahvé fut adressée à Shemaya en ces termes : " Ils se sont humiliés, je ne les exterminerai pas; sous peu je leur permettrai d'échapper et ce n' est pas par les mains de Sheshonq que ma colère s' abattra sur Jérusalem.
