Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me; and, behold, he formed grasshoppers in the beginning of the shooting up of the latter growth; and, lo, it was the latter growth after the king' s mowings.

Voici ce que me fit voir le Seigneur Yahvé : C'était une éclosion de sauterelles, au temps où le regain commence à monter, de sauterelles adultes, après la coupe du roi.

Amo / Am 7:2

And it came to pass, that when they had made an end of eating the grass of the land, then I said, O Lord GOD, forgive, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

Ary nony efa laniny avokoa ny zava-maniry amin' ny tany, dia hoy izaho: Jehovah Tompo, mifona aminao aho mamelà heloka! Hataon' i Jakoba ahoana no fahajanona? Fa kely izy.

Nony tapitra lanin' ireny avokoa ny ahitra amin' ny tany, dia hoy aho: Ry Tompo Iaveh ô, mba mamelà heloka! Ahoana no haharetan' i Jakoba? fa kely izy.

Et comme elles achevaient de dévorer l' herbe du pays, je dis : " Seigneur Yahvé, pardonne, je t' en prie ! Comment Jacob tiendra-t-il ? Il est si petit ! "

Amo / Am 7:3

The Lord repented for this: It shall not be, saith the Lord.

Yahvé en eut du repentir : " Cela ne sera pas ", dit Yahvé.

Amo / Am 7:4

Thus hath the Lord GOD shewed unto me: and, behold, the Lord GOD called to contend by fire, and it devoured the great deep, and did eat up a part.

Izao no nasehon' i Jehovah Tompo tamiko: Indro, Jehovah Tompo miantso hifandahatra hamely amin' ny afo, ka nandevona ny lalina lehibe sy nila handany ny zara-lova izany.

Izao no nasehon' ny Tompo Iaveh tamiko: dia indro tonga Iaveh hanasazy amn' ny afo, dia nandevona ny hantsana lehibe ny afo, sy nandevona ny anjara-lovan' ny Tompo.

Voici ce que me fit voir le Seigneur Yahvé : Le Seigneur Yahvé appelait le feu pour châtier : celui-ci dévora le grand Abîme, puis il dévora la campagne.

Amo / Am 7:5

Then said I, O Lord GOD, cease, I beseech thee: by whom shall Jacob arise? for he is small.

Dia hoy izaho: Jehovah Tompo, Mifona aminao aho, mitsahara! Hataon' i Jakoba ahoana no fahajanona? Fa kely izy.

Ka hoy aho: Mba mitsahara, ry Tompo Iaveh ô! Ahoana no haharetan' i Jakoba? fa kely izy.

Je dis : " Seigneur Yahvé, cesse, je t' en prie ! Comment Jacob tiendra-t-il ? Il est si petit ! "

Amo / Am 7:6

The Lord repented for this: This also shall not be, saith the Lord GOD.

Amo / Am 7:7

Thus he shewed me: and, behold, the Lord stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a plumbline in his hand.

Izao no nasehony ahy: Indro, ny Tompo nitsangana teo ambonin' ny manda natao amin' ny pilao, sady nisy pilao teny an-tànany.

Izao no nasehon' ny Tompo tamiko: dia indro fa nitsangana teo ambonin' ny rindrina mijoro ny Tompo ary nisy kofehy pilao teny an-tanany.

Voici ce qu' il me fit voir : Le Seigneur se tenait près d' un mur, un fil à plomb dans la main.

Amo / Am 7:8

And the Lord said unto me, Amos, what seest thou? And I said, A plumbline. Then said the Lord, Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not again pass by them any more:

Yahvé me dit : " Que vois-tu, Amos ? " Je dis : " Un fil à plomb. " Le Seigneur dit : " Voici que je vais mettre un fil à plomb au milieu de mon peuple, Israël, désormais je ne lui pardonnerai plus.

Amo / Am 7:9

And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.

Dia ho foana ny fitoerana avon' Isaka, ary ho rava ny fitoera-masin' Isiraely; Ary hitsangana Aho ka hamely sabatra ny taranak' i Jeroboama.

Then Amaziah the priest of Bethel sent to Jeroboam king of Israel, saying, Amos hath conspired against thee in the midst of the house of Israel: the land is not able to bear all his words.

Alors Amasias, le prêtre de Béthel, envoya dire à Jéroboam, roi d' Israël : " Amos conspire contre toi, au sein de la maison d' Israël; le pays ne peut tolérer ses discours.

Amo / Am 7:11

For thus Amos saith, Jeroboam shall die by the sword, and Israel shall surely be led away captive out of their own land.

Amo / Am 7:12

Also Amaziah said unto Amos, O thou seer, go, flee thee away into the land of Judah, and there eat bread, and prophesy there:

Et Amasias dit à Amos : " Voyant, va-t-en; fuis au pays de Juda; mange ton pain là-bas, et là-bas prophétise.

Amo / Am 7:13

But prophesy not again any more at Bethel: for it is the king' s chapel, and it is the king' s court.

Amo / Am 7:14

Then answered Amos, and said to Amaziah, I was no prophet, neither was I a prophet' s son; but I was an herdman, and a gatherer of sycomore fruit:

Amo / Am 7:15

And the Lord took me as I followed the flock, and the Lord said unto me, Go, prophesy unto my people Israel.

saingy nalain' i Jehovah tany ampiandrasana ondry ka nataony hoe: Mandehana, ka maminania amin' ny Isiraely oloko.

Ary nalain' ny Tompo tany aorian' ny biby fiompy aho, dia nataon' ny Tompo tamiko hoe: Mandehana hianao, maminany any amin' Israely vahoakako.

Mais Yahvé m' a pris de derrière le troupeau et Yahvé m' a dit : "Va, prophétise à mon peuple Israël. "

Amo / Am 7:16

Now therefore hear thou the word of the Lord: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and drop not thy word against the house of Isaac.

Ka mba henoy ny tenin' i Jehovah: Hianao manao hoe: Aza maminany ny hamelezana ny Isiraely, ary aza milaza ny hamelezana ny taranak' Isaka;

Koa ankehitriny, mihainoa ny tenin' ny Tompo hianao: Hoy hianao hoe; Aza maminany ny hamelezana an' Israely; ary aza miteny ny hamelezana ny taranak' Isaaka!...

Et maintenant, écoute la parole de Yahvé : Tu dis : "Tu ne prophétiseras pas contre Israël, tu ne vaticineras pas contre la maison d' Isaac. "

Amo / Am 7:17

Therefore thus saith the Lord; Thy wife shall be an harlot in the city, and thy sons and thy daughters shall fall by the sword, and thy land shall be divided by line; and thou shalt die in a polluted land: and Israel shall surely go into captivity forth of his land.

Koa izao no lazain' ny Tompo: Ny vadinao hovetavetaina ao an-tanàna; ny zanakao lahy aman-janakao vavy, ho lavon-tsabatra; ny taninao, hozaraina amin' ny famolaina, ary hianao ho faty eo amin' ny tany maloto; ary Israely hoentin-ko babo hiala amin' ny taniny.

C' est pourquoi, ainsi parle Yahvé : "Ta femme se prostituera dans la ville, tes fils et tes filles tomberont sous l'épée, ta terre sera partagée au cordeau, et toi, tu mourras sur une terre impure, et Israël sera déporté loin de sa terre".
